Answer: In the past three years, the cassava starch industry in Laos has made great progress, with the construction of many large and advanced starch factories. Currently, there are about 13 starch factories; 15 companies (with many other construction plans) predict that the starch production during the 2023/24 crushing season may reach nearly 400000 tons, with a year-on-year increase of over 100%.
