Overall, last week, in terms of production, there was a slight increase in starch production compared to the previous week, while finished product inventory remained roughly unchanged (sample value). In terms of exports, influenced by factors such as the continuous decline in raw materials and insufficient demand in the Chinese market, the export market of Thai starch has maintained a fluctuating downward trend. The latest average price of sampled brands closed with a slight decline (FOB Bangkok ordinary product - $5/ton). At the same time, the actual offshore volume of starch exports (China) has shrunk compared to last week.
