本网讯（通讯员 韦宾）：据笔者现场来自广西梧州的消息，本年度由于薯农种植积极性高，种植面积的增加，以及木薯中后期的生长气候还算风调雨顺，使之木薯取得了近年来少有的大丰收；据当地农业部门的技术人员介绍，梧州历来就有种植木薯的传统习惯，产量在广西各市中一直名列2—3名；从今年的综合情况分析和评估，总产量有望比上年度增长1.5—2成。
此外，由于今年的鲜薯得价，还导致当地薯农一改传统加工干薯片的习惯，而“吹糠见米”多卖鲜薯（来钱快，风险少）；目前淀粉厂的鲜薯收购价为：700—750元/吨，供应量较为充足。
