据泰国《世界日报》8月25日报道，泰国素辇府、武里喃府爆发木薯粉蚧虫，严重影响收成，农业部昨天（24日）在素辇府举办「种植木薯，预防及治理害虫」宣传讲座活动，这次活动由农业部下属的促进农业厅长阿拉律主持，吸引200多名农民参加活动。
阿拉律表示，素辇府有1万2465户农民种植木薯，面积12万9691莱。但不幸发生虫害，并且有蔓延趋势，导致农民损失惨重。为此，农业部门特别举办此次宣传活动，准备8个课程，由专业人员通过问答方式，向农民传授正确的种植和保护措施，以及发生虫害之后的解决办法，以降低虫害造成的损失。
