据报道，近几年，国内生产马铃薯颗粒全粉的厂家发展很快，一些规模较大的加工企业对马铃薯的年需求量已超过1万吨。另外，随着肯德基等诸多洋快餐在我国的迅猛发展，对土豆颗粒全粉的需求也在不断增加。市场调查显示，目前马铃薯全粉的国内市场年需求量已超过3万吨，而整个亚洲市场年需求量约6万吨，并且以每年20%的速度递增。雪花粉也好是马铃薯全粉中的一种，外观呈乳白色片状，通常含水率为7%—8%，含有新鲜马铃薯所具备的各种营养成分，并保持了其天然口感和风味。调查显示，北京一个厂家每年对雪花粉的需求就达2000—3000吨，上海几家膨化食品厂每年的需求量也在500—600吨，但目前全国生产雪花粉的厂家不多，远远满足不了市场的需求，因此马铃薯制品在我国有着非常广阔的市场前景。
