财政部网站消息，为引导和鼓励农民在农业生产中使用农作物优良品种，提高农产品产量和品质，近日，中央财政下拨2014年农作物良种补贴资金7亿元，主要用于河北、山东、河南等12个省（区、市）花生良种补贴，河北、内蒙古、重庆、四川、甘肃等14个省（区、市）以及黑龙江垦区马铃薯良种补贴，并在广西壮族自治区支持开展甘蔗良种补贴试点。
截至目前，中央财政已拨付2014年农作物良种补贴资金214.45亿元，实现了今年水稻、小麦、玉米和棉花等农作物全国覆盖，大豆、青稞在主产区全覆盖，油菜在长江流域冬油菜主产区全覆盖，花生良种补贴在12个省（区）实施，马铃薯良种补贴在14个主产省（区、市）实施。近几年，中央财政每年安排的农作物良种补贴资金稳定在200亿元以上，有效地推广了农作物良种良法，有力地促进了粮食稳定增产和农民持续增收，已成为一项提升粮食综合生产能力的重大支农政策。
