该品种为我国当前双季、极早熟脱毒马铃薯品种。株形直立矮小，株高45厘米左右。茎绿色，叶浅绿色，长势中等。薯块扁卵形，黄皮黄肉，表皮光滑，大小中等、整齐，芽眼多而浅，结薯特别早且集中。休眠期短、耐贮藏。极早熟，从出苗至收获55天；覆膜栽培可提早于5月中旬上市，宜双季栽培。蒸食品质优，淀粉质量好，适于食品加工。植株中感晚疫病，较抗环腐病，高抗花叶病毒病，轻感卷叶病毒病。耐涝性强。适宜密度为每亩4000－4500株。上等水肥地块种植，苗期和孕蕾期不能缺水。适应性广，适宜和其他作物套种。不适于干旱收早上市。一般亩产1500－2000公斤，高的可达2500公斤以上。综合经济性壮优，适宜食用、加工和出口。
