Nigeria cassava industrial park seeks to establish cooperative relationships with Chinese enterprises

According to the Nigerian media China Africa Press Center on December 7th, during the recent China Africa Economic and Trade Expo into Africa (Nigeria) and the 18th China Engineering Technology Exhibition held in Abuja, both Nigerian and Chinese companies have achieved fruitful results.

During the event, the representative of Azuba Osatech cassava industrial park in Nigeria stated that they are looking for partners and expressed their willingness to strengthen cooperation with Chinese enterprises in the agricultural sector.

Azuba Osatech cassava industrial park is located in the state of Nasarawa, Nigeria, adjacent to Abuja. The industrial park covers an area of over 200 hectares. Aso Ogi stated that Azuba Osatech cassava industrial park is planned to be developed in five stages, and the park has initiated the first phase of investment, focusing on seeking partners who can provide technical assistance, machinery and equipment, professional knowledge, and support for foreign market expansion for its product exports. He also pointed out that the research team in the park is seeking to solve a major challenge faced by the cassava processing industry in Nigeria, which is the problem of high moisture content. "There is no doubt that moisture content has always been a problem, but we are working hard to reduce this problem by introducing hybrid varieties with lower moisture content. We also hope to find suitable industrial technologies to extract moisture and use it in other products.
