因受长时间的冻害天气影响，我市的木薯种茎大批受损。据调查，全市范围内除少部分埋在地下的种茎免受损失外，其余未收获和未埋在地下的的木薯种茎受损均在95%以上。估计能保存下来的、可种植的种茎不足种植5万亩，其中种植大户的损失最为惨重，调查所涉及的大户木薯种茎几乎全部毁灭。按去年木薯种植面积17.2万亩计，今年将缺木薯种茎5000吨以上。目前我市农业部门正组织人员到外地调运优质木薯种茎，以满足今年木薯种植的需要。
